I went down to Justin and Jenny's for dinner on Sunday. It was so wonderful. I hadn't gone shopping in a while and was wondering what we were going to have to eat and then they called and invited us down for some ham and potatoes! I was so grateful, even though Chris had to come all the way home from work so that I could take him back and keep the car. We still have Gonzo, but aren't driving it because we can't afford the insurance on it....lame.
Lydia loved playing with her cousins. It's always fun to play with new toys. She is growing up so much and can push herself around on little cars and trains and bikes now. It is so fun to see her become more independent and watch her learn about all the different things that her body can do. She loved jumping on the trampoline and she was much better at it this time than last time. That girl can really jump for a 17 month old! She could climb up the slide all by herself. I would hold her hand on the way down though, just because it was pretty fast and went straight to the ground...no slowing down.
We played some crocket. First time I ever played and it was so fun! I look forward to getting to play some more with them. We came in and put the kids down for bed and played some boggle, Chris never plays that game with me any more (I always win....) so it was really fun to be able to play. I'm so happy to have some family close by to visit.
