Growin Growin Growin

This morning I woke up to a crying little girl...not an unusual thing the past week or so....but this morning was different. My Lydia was not crying from the crib in her bedroom! I jumped out of bed to find her wandering around in the hall! My little baby climbed out of her crib this morning. I'm so glad that she is all right and I am sad to think that she is definitely not a baby anymore. She is an adorable stubborn little toddler. She now says many many words I probably won't be able to list them all because she is to the point now where she learns new ones almost every day.
Among the new words are: Buddy, up, down, ow and owie, 'eLLOoo (hello), poo-poo, NO (which is always fun....), bye, what?, apple, LiddyLa (Lydia), nigh nigh (which she is actually referring to her little lamb when she says this), peeee (peek), bottle, daaaaawwwghhh (she says dog really funny), nah nah nah (knock knock knock every time we get home from a walk she does this at the front door), birdie...

She knows the noises made by a: cow, kitty/cat, puppy/dog, elephant, monkey, sheep, horse, chicken, rooster (which is really cute), and bird.

It is darling to hear her talk and humm to herself, to watch her as she understands more and more, and as she accomplishes so much. We love our little gal and wouldn't trade her for the moon or stars!

I have not missed out on the whole growing up thing, myself. I do not fail to recognize that time ticks by every second of the day and often there is not enough of it for me to finish all that I would like to within it. My soccer team started playing again two weeks ago and I definitely feel the growing up in me there as well. Don't get me wrong...I still go get 'em! ;) I just find it harder to breathe these days! hahaha. I look forward to the day when school will be done, it really sucks up so much of our lives right now: Time. Money. Effort. Sleep. Although I did add a floral design class this spring and am enjoying it thoroughly!

Chris, my hubbers, is more handsome than ever! :) He is still working so hard at the hospital and covering for me at home while I'm at school. He has planted a garden for us and tended to the yard which looks so pretty! We can't wait to enjoy any produce from our first little garden, among which may be: strawberries, tomatoes, peas, green beans, carrots, cilantro, and cucumbers (which we think may have already got frozen out from the recent snow that we had end of April/first of May). Hopefully we will be somewhat successful, we haven't been in the past and so we are skeptical, but hope that our efforts will pay off.
