Baby Shower

I didn't get to take any pictures because our camera eats batteries like I eat cookies! But I just copied all of the pictures from Melissa Rogers' blog, she is the cute little mommy with dark curly hair in the pictures. Thanks Melissa, I hope you don't mind. :)

I had such a great time at my first baby shower ever! The Young Women of the Palmyra Ward in Spanish Fork are so sweet and I miss them so much. Most of their leaders are going to be having babies in the next couple of months...and I was one of them until we had to move here to Orem. But they were nice enough to invite me back for a baby shower. We played some fun games including Pregnancy/Baby BINGO, candy bar match up, and word scrambles. They fed us yummy ice cream sundaes and presented us with some blankets that they had all gotten together to make! When they brought those out, it almost brought me to tears. It really hit me that I wasn't there celebrating someone else's baby (although I was...the other three women that are expecting),but that they were actually giving things to me for MY baby! It was fun to see them bring out four blankets, one for each of us little mommies, and I was thrilled to know right away which one was for me because it was the only one in pink! They also gave us each an adorable little outfit. The other leaders got some cute overalls and plaid shirts and I got the cutest little dress.
