We spent the weekend in Holden, well saturday. We did some hard work cutting a Huge tree down in the Bennett's back yard. Chris cut this whole piece of the trunk with an ax because we hadn't found the chain saw yet. Once he did get the chain saw, it helped a lot and we moved quite a bit faster....I think he almost had a little too much fun!
We made a fire pit for the Chris's parents in their back yard. We made some log benches out of the trunk of the tree that we chopped down and it turned out really nice! We are excited to have family campfires around that pit in the future.
We stopped for dinner..Just in time too because it started to rain and cool off quite a lot. But we did see a beautiful rainbow. The storm also made for a beautiful sunset. These are some shots I got of the scene...but remember cameras hardly do it justice!
I forgot that I wanted to add the effects of this hardworking day....
Chris soaked his hands in ice water to try and relieve the pain of his swollen knuckles and the blisters. His Allergies went CrAzY from all of the dust and stuff from being outside. AND a couple of birds lost their home in the process of our hard work. One nest had unhatched eggs in it and this one the mother is still sitting in it trying to protect her little baby birds...sad.

Wow you guys are so helpful when it comes to family. I am sure Chris's parents really appreciated that! I know we apprecaite all the things you do for our family.
I know how Brian gets around power tools he always has fun no matter what the job is if he can use a power tool. The sunset pictures were so beautiful. I always admire you Brindy for taking time to really notice God's creations. You really are a great photographer!
