I don't know if I will end up having to take the MCAT again, but it feels good to have it done for now....We celebrated by treating ourselves to a dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Chris sauntered around a mall down in Chesapeake, while I took my test for five hours. How many husbands would be chill with that responsibility?! I am a lucky girl.
It did not go as well as I would have hoped. My biggest struggle in practicing was having such little time allowed on the test. I often ran out of time when taking practice tests and so this was one of my major concerns. It was very unfortunate that 15 minutes into the test, I had an emergency! I needed to leave and run for the restroom as soon as possible! When entering the testing room, I was instructed that if we needed assistance, we were to raise our hand and wait for someone to come to our aid. So I sat with my hand in the air, breaking into a sweat in fear that my emergency would not wait any longer, and tried as best I could to focus on chemistry and physics. I waited for 15 minutes with my hand in the air!! I couldn't take it. I was not able to focus and I could not continue until I had visited the restroom. I got up and left, clock on my test ticking. They followed protocol and took my identification and had me sign out upon exiting, I raced to the restroom, and when I came back, I was to sign back in, take my finger print again, and be scanned with the scanner thing..all while my clock was ticking. Sadly, I ended up having to guess on a large portion of that section.
We ran into a major traffic delay on the way home. Chris and I were bored and tired and ready to be home. |
This is how ended up passing the time. I'm always wanting to time to learn more about my camera and this was a perfect opportunity... |
