What's Been Happening!?

We have been hopping all summer and it just doesn't seem to slow down! School has started back up Full time for me and I have just a few minutes to document a few things that we have been up to lately. Not much journaling, but here are some pictures to remember the fun memories that we have been making.

Summer nights are always so beautiful! We just love sitting outside and talking sometimes when the sun goes down. It hasn't happened as often as we would have like this summer, but this night had a beautiful moonrise.

Lydia is very good at her Tricycle now and rides it with ease. She loves to say, "look at how fast I'm going!"

We got to watch Tyler play his first soccer game! He did great! He scored many goals for his team. Way to go little buddy!

Our garden has been very successful this year. We have grown lots of peas, strawberries, corn (which we haven't actually got to eat yet, the earwigs kinda ruled them), peppers, tomatoes, carrots, squash, watermelon (we are about to pick!), cucumbers, and I think that's all. These jalepenos were sitting on the counter and Lydia decided she wanted to try one and took a big bite out of one before I even saw what she was doing. She regretted it for almost an hour following. She was in tears and sobbing for a good 45 minutes straight! I tried everything. After a glass of milk, a glass of water, a creamy, some salty chips, some soup, and another popsicle, she finally calmed down. I asked her later how she liked it and she said, "It was yummy....? ...It was HHHHHHot."

We had a big family dinner at Drew and Leah's house when my parents were out here visiting. It was a lot of fun getting to visit and Lydia had a riot playing with all of her cousins (once removed)....and her daddy of course.

We got to go to Cherry Hill one afternoon. It was a lot of fun. This is my little water stinker! She loves swimming and is quite the little dare devil! This was snapped as she danced around the pool.
