Lydia's painting that she did for Chris this year for Father's Day.
Father's Day is such a special day. Our primary sang a song that I don't think I have ever heard before, but it started talking about our Dads at home and how special they are, then it ended with our Father in Heaven and what a special kind of love He has. It was neat to not only be reminded about our Dads and the love Heavenly Father has for us, but also to hear them being compared and related to each other. I think there is something special about a father's love.
I watch Chris with Lydia and, despite driving me crazy, I love that he insists on giving her treats and buying her surprises, tickling her until she can hardly breathe, and doing all of the things that she needs from a father that I couldn't give her or wouldn't give her. :)
Breakfast in bed. :) 'mornin sunshine!
Thanks Chris for being Lydia's Daddy. She loves you and misses you when you're gone at work. She asks for you when she wakes up and you're not there. Our family is blessed because you are a good father.
I love my Daddy-Oh to pieces! What an incredible man he is and I am so very grateful for the loving memories that I have of him.
