Life Passes You By
I haven't really felt that old yet, but this week was a pretty good reality check for me. I make an effort to keep myself physically active. Not just because I feel that it is important, but mostly because it's something that I really enjoy! This fall I think I took on a little too much for my body. Chris and I are on a softball team together, I'm playing intramural volleyball at BYU, soccer for Spanish Fork, and I signed up for a soccer class at school! This is the reason that this post is titled "Life Passes You By", because as much as I am involved and loving life, I have found that life never stops and you can't freeze yourself in a moment of time. I keep thinking that I can do all that I could when I was in high school. The fact is, when I was in high school and all those teachers and adults told me that I was in the best shape that I would ever be in, I laughed at them and just thought I'm going to do this forever so that I can be in this shape forever! Haha....that's funny now because, like always, they were right! The truth is, I just can't compete with high schoolers any more. (Not that I really want to...) I just realized this because that soccer class that I signed up for at BYU was the intermediate one because I figured the beginning would be boring. First day of class, and all the other girls were about 7 years younger than me, that's when I thought that I just might have made a mistake about that....ahahaha! This week has been interesting because Chris and I both are climbing ever so slowly in to bed, due to sore muscles, and all night we are gasping because he just kicked my bruised shin, or I just brushed his scraped up leg. It's all pretty humorous. Life passes you by and you don't even notice it. And I'm sure ten, twenty years from now, I'm going to read these words and think...."You had no idea what was still ahead of you sister!"

Yes mah dear, you will indeed read your post in 20 years and say exactly that........."you have no idea......" oh the places that can hurt. But I also know staying as active as possible is very helpful so you just keep on being that little firecracker and those ol' joints and muscles will try to keep up! Love ya!
Ya, you have no idea...Even your "Aches"...Aches will ache!!
I so miss watching you play volleyball, soccer, Lacrosse, softball, basketball...I think you did them all. Where did those days go...
