Christopher Withdrawals :)

Chris being the manly man that he is put in a total of 80 hours of work last week! It was rough...but he did it so that we can save up some money this summer. I really appreciate his hard work. I don't think I am as supportive of his efforts as I should be by sighing every time he has to leave my side, but what can I say? I'm in love with the boy!

Well needless to say, Lydia and I have had a lot of time together, just the two of us. So we went to see him one day. I needed to pick up my ring which was being sparkilized at the mall and Chris took the jeep to work...so Lydia and I rode the bus into Provo together. It was really quite fun. I decided we'd take the 3:19 p.m. bus leaving from the library here in Spanish Fork. That oughta be about the time for Lia to wake up from her nap. Well I was watching the clock and 3:10 came around and Lydia was still asleep! So I waited until about 3:12 p.m. and went in to get her and go or else we were going to miss the bus! I went to grab her and this is how I found her:
"What is so funny?"

"Momma! Stop taking pictures of me!"

hahahaha!!! I was laughing so hard I had to hurry and take a picture of my Bull Baby.

I put her in the stroller, it was now about 3:15....four minutes left to make it to the bus stop....and I remembered I should probably change her diaper before we go. So I ran back inside, did probably the fastest diaper change EVER (Yes, I am that good)...and then we ran the whole block and a half to the library bus stop JUST IN TIME to catch the bus. Seriously, I barely stopped and the bus came up behind me!

We got on and Lydia, who was still rather shocked to be awakened in such a manner, warmed up as the ride went along and she loved not having to sit strapped into a seat. She found her sunglasses in my purse, put them on and left them on all the way until we met Chris (this is unusual, she loves her sunglasses, but usually they're on for two seconds and she's pulled them off and can't get them back on).

It was a wonderful trip to Provo. We picked the jeep up at the hospital and went to the mall. We had fun walkin around for a bit and then went back to get Chris and some dinner during his break. We didn't ride the bus back home, Chris found a ride and we took the car. It was a successful road trip! :)

Some other things that we have been doing just Lydia and I:

cute wrinkly toes from swimming.
We went to the pool. That was fun. But it will definitely be more fun when the Hottie can be with us.
We enjoyed being together and eating some yummy strawberries at the pool. I must have had too many strawberries...because I came home looking as red one!

We have enjoyed lots of yummy watermelon and nice weather. Lydia LOVES watermelon.

Yes, yes....she loves that stuff. We sat in our front yard and it was a perfect summer afternoon with green grass, bare feet, and cold delicious watermelon!

Lydia has this silly thing with her nose. If she gets into anything that she knows she's not supposed to, it goes on her nose....? This was seconds after she came walking in the room wiping Chris's shaving cream on her nose. I turn around from putting the shaving cream away and she looks like this! Diaper cream....on her nose!

I totally feel your pain with the Chris withdrawals except in my case it's Devin withdrawals! I swear the guy is hardly ever home, he is so busy with school and work!
I am glad you and Lydia are having some fun together though! The nice weather makes it a little easier to keep the little ones entertained. We need to get together soon! It's been far too long.
