Hermana Stoker Gone

Becky flew in last Monday from Virginia and we went and picked her up from the airport. We got to spend the rest of the day with her and Tuesday and then wednesday afternoon we took her to the MTC. I am so happy that we got to see her before she left. She has been called to serve in the Salta, Argentina Mission and we are so proud of her. I know that she will do so well. I love my little sister!

Kind of a funny story: So Wednesday we had only one car and so we dropped Chris off at school and we went over to the temple to get a few pictures before she left. I had just barely put batteries in my camera like the day before, but apparently my camera just sucked the life out of them and we were able to get this picture. And that was it. So then we went over to Walmart because Becky needed a few things, and I just happened to have something I needed to return. So I return it, and they didn't give me a full refund, so I had to wait in line all over again to tell them that I didn't get as much money as I was supposed to get and that took forever! WE finally got out of there and I wanted to be sure and have a fun little lunch before we had to drop Becky off. We were running a little late by this time and Becky was nervous so all that sounded good to her was Jamba Juice. So I rushed a little out of the way to get her some Jamba Juice. Before we even left the parking lot from getting our smoothies they dumped all over the back floor of the car. Good thing it didn't get on either of us, in our dresses, but what a MESS! So we were a little flustered because we still had to go pick Chris up and it was now 1:25 p.m. and Becky was supposed to be dropped off at 1:30 p.m.! So we hurried as much as we possibly could, picked up Chris and we were a little stressed and then Lydia started crying and we couldn't do anything to stop her, so we rode the whole way to the MTC with a screaming baby. We dropped her off successfully and she was so beautiful! I love her. She seemed nervous, but so happy! I felt bad that that fun little lunch turned into a pretty stressful thing. As we were leaving I the MTC, I just started crying because I wanted her to have a good memory of the day she started her mission, and I kind of felt like I ruined it. I just was stressed about taking the time to go to the temple for ONE picture, Taking too much time at Walmart, Lydia crying and Jamba Juice all over my car and Becky leaving to that....But it took one more disaster to finally put me over the edge. We stopped by Home Depot on our way home, and lo and behold as I lifted the remaining Jamba Juice from the cup holder, the lid popped off and JAMBA JUICE EVERYWHERE!! All over the gears, the radio, the A/C controllers, ME, My WHITE dress, the seats, the floor!!! I just burst into tears!! I had had enough of the Jamba Juice! hahaha Chris was so good and nice and cleaned everything up for me while I was a wreck! He just laughed about the whole thing, which made me realize how silly it really was and I was laughing by the end too. No more Jamba Juice in our car.....ever!
