Family Time!

I had been looking forward to the past couple of weeks for so long and it really was a fun vacation. My parents drove from Virginia all the way out here to Utah and Idaho. They visited with us for a couple of days.

We went on a small hike to a little waterfall in Payson Canyon. It's called The Grotto.

We make one cute little family! :)

My parents with us. I love them so much.

My parents then went down to my brother and his wife's house to watch their kids while they celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary.

We drove up the hills and had a hot dog roast over a campifire together. This is Grandma and Grandpa with 3 of their 7 grandchildren: Lydia(4mo), Zoey(1yr.), and Tyler (3yrs.).

<Zoey and Tyler's feet as the sat next to each other on the picnic table. I thought it was so cute.

>Tyler thought the S'mores were so yummy. He kept saying, "I LOVE these cookies, I LOVE them."

Then went up to my aunts' house where we had a little family reunion with my dad's family at the park. It was so much fun. I hardly got any pictures though, which I was so bummed about. We got to see so many cousins and cousins kids that we don't get to see very often. We played games and relaxed together and ate together and laughed. We had a great time spending time together. We even got to go up to Salt Lake for the broadcast of the Music and the Spoken Word. I don't think I have ever been to it and it was a wonderful experience to listen to the music and invite the spirit into our sabbath day.

These are the only two pictures I have from the reunion.....

On thursday we drove up to Idaho with my brother's family. It was nice that we were able to travel together. We stayed with my sister, Marcella and just continued the party. It was great to see her kids and spend some time with her and her family.

Hannah (4 years)
Tyler (3 years)
Natalie (2 years)
Zoey (1 year)
Lydia (4 months)

This is us behind the waterfall! It was so fun.

And this is us in front of it.

Garrett and the other kids just loved Lydia! She was like the most fascinating toy. They were so cute and so concerned about her the whole time. Garrett constantly asked me to put her in her "green chair" and set her on the floor so that he could talk to her and play with her.

Natalie and Lydia. She was so cute with her little cousin. What a cute girl, even with her haircut from her older sister! It was a blast to get to see those kids again!

On Saturday we had a little family reunion with my Mom's family. It was wonderful!! We haven't seen so many of her family in so long! Chris met quite a few people for the first time even! It is so fun to see all of my cousins begin families of their own and have them meet my little girl and my handsome stud of a husband! We played rope-a-dope, ping pong, farkle, frisbee, treasure huntin with the kids, croket, and just talked and played. It really was great. I didn't get any pictures there because the batteries in my camera were out of life. But hopefully my uncle who was taking group pictures will send some to everyone.

Sunday we went to church with my sister and then drove home. It was a great little vacation and Lydia was so good! This was our first little family vacation. We went to Cedar a month ago, which is about the same distance, but Chris went on a hike and so we weren't together for most of the time. So this was really fun to be together with family.
