STADIUM OF FIRE 2011
(Blog makes it hard to put these pics in the right order...so they're not really.)
Fireworks Show:
Brad Paisley:
We like Brad. Good songs, clean guy. Lydia had a great time clapping and singing along.
David Archuleta:
The fireworks made her a little nervous (mainly the noise), but she really did good! She makes everything so much more exciting! Everyone around us was having a riot watching Lydia during the concert. She is just so full of personality and spunk, her dancing and singing is sure to put a smile on anyone's face.
Lydia and Chris:
Skydivers and Flag Entrance:
This poor dude...made a Grand Entrance and then completely wiped out as he was coming in for the landing. The flag caught onto a fence and completely pulled the fence down and the marines were all rushing to try and pick the flag up off of the ground. It was neat to see him flying around though.
Lydia really enjoyed watching the dancers. I have a feeling she may take a liking to dancing...?
And of course, once she saw we had some treats, she was in heaven! Music, singing, dancing, Mommy and Daddy, and treats! All of her favorite things.
The Fourth of July is one of my favorite celebrations. It is full of fun, summer time, excitement, and amidst it all there is a reverence and respect that fills the air for the country that we live in.
I am grateful to be living here today. I'm proud to be an American.
