The last part of Chris's birthday was the Guster concert. We had a great time! We were lucky to have Justin and Jenny come up and watch Lydia for us so that we could go up to Salt Lake for the concert.
This is who I, comically and naively, thought was Guster! It was a laugh really! The whole time this band, called Good 'ol War, was playing, I was thinking in my head what a lame concert this was! They weren't playing any songs that people knew! Nobody was singing along, they were all right, but they weren't at all what I was expecting or wanting! Chris just started laughing at me when, after asking me if I knew the name of this group I said, "I just figured this was Guster..." haha! Some times I crack myself up!!
...and it's still getting crowded in here! :) P.S. PLEASE EXCUSE MY HAIR IN ALL OF THESE PICTURES! I TRIED A NEW PART AND APPARENTLY IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME AT ALL....
Just another picture of the group. They left the stage after this song. Then came back and performed a Red Hot Chili Pepper song that was pretty funny. The drummer sang it and so it was pretty silly. Then they left the stage.
The crowd cheered for "one more song", but they didn't come back. Everyone started leaving and then all of a sudden they did come back! Since people had already left we got pushed right up to the stage when everyone realized that they had come back. So we were right up close for this last song. It was a fun up, close and personal song. It was a great concert and we left with our voices hoarse and our ears muffled.
