HAPPY NUMBER 4!!!
Chris and Brindy joined October 7, 2006
We celebrated our fourth year anniversary this month. We had so much fun! It was a well needed weekend of romance, laughter, dancing, cheering, family, love, shopping, relaxing, flirting, and laughing some more.
Chris took me to Desert Star Theater for dinner on the 7th. He wanted to leave around 4:30 p.m. I ended up having to take a test that took a lot longer than planned and so we didn't get to leave until about 6:30 p.m. We barely made it there just before the show started. It was so fun! We were right in front of the stage. They sang to us and made us kiss because we were celebrating our anniversary. They performed a spoof on Harry Potter which was pretty funny! Chris and I had a great time just having some time for the two of us. Jenny and Justin took Lydia for the night. We appreciated that so much! Chris reserved a hotel for us that night. It was kind of funny because he chose the one he did for the sole purpose that it had a water slide...turns out it didn't open until two o'clock in the afternoon the next day. Bummer! haha We did however have a great time playing "PIG" against each other in the swimming pool. Chris had me laughing so hard. We had such fun playing like two young newly weds again.
The next morning, we took advantage of the Continental Breakfast...yes the one where I sneezed (see previous post). Then we took off for Park City. We loved the beautiful drive and walking around the outlet mall up there. Chris and I had never been there and heard that it was the place to shop. It was a lot of fun. We both got a new outfit and Lydia too.
(Don't worry..my hair didn't look like I actually wanted it to look, until the next morning, after sleeping on it...)
I bought tickets to a formal dance for Chris and I to go to. I thought it might be fun to surprise him and ask him somewhat creatively since we didn't really have the chance to ask each other to a dance in high school. I filled a big black cauldron with Lucky Charms, placed this: "I would be so Lucky if you, my Charming Boy, would be my date to Homecoming." under all of the Lucky Charms. I placed a spoon in the pot, with a sign attached to it saying, "You must dig for the treasure at the end of the rainbow." Set rainbow arrows leading from the bed to the Cauldron and a sign at the beginning that said "follow the rainbow." It was pretty fun, and he said yes...
I found a steal of a deal on a dress at a consignment store here in Spanish Fork. It is beautiful and it fit me perfect! We went home from Park City to get ready for the dance.
