She is just too hard to take pictures of when I'm by myself any more so these are some recent ones of our beautiful girl. I am also waiting until I graduate to get a nice camera!
She is an adorable little mommy. She's got her purse, keys, cell phone, and baby. She gets them all set and then turns to me and says, "Buh bye. See ya." and waves her hand behind her.

Lydia is now 18 months old! I can't believe that she will be two so soon! She is turning into quite the adorable little girl. She sure knows how to test patience, throw tantrums, and get into things she knows she's not supposed to. She is also overwhelmingly lovable and smart and sweet.
She smiles now when we ask her to. It's pretty funny though because it's rarely a cute little smile. She usually gets a big cheesy grin and closes her eyes really tight.
This stroller is still a little bit big for her (we got a great deal at a yardsale), but she loves pushing her baby (there is a tiny little doll in there).
Loves coloring, drawing, and painting except this was her first time with water colors and it was actually really frustrating. She kept wanting color to come out of the brush and didn't understand that she had to dip it in the paint first.
Her new little rocking horse we found at a yardsale. She is so cute with it. She pats its head and kisses it every time she gets off. She tries to "walk" the horse and makes kissing noises to try and get it to move with her "Come on horsey, (kiss, kiss, kiss). Come on horsey".

Some of my favorite things that Lydia does:
- She will often come and pat my back or rub my back with her hand.
- I love seeing her dance. It is one of her favorite things to do! I love watching her dance with her lamb, or "Buddy Puppy".
- She now talks to her babies and it is so cute. The other day I caught her asking her baby if she wanted some milk.
- She answers her own questions. i.e. "Milk? Yah." "Movie? Movie? Movie, yah." "Play? yah." It is so funny.
- She sings Old McDonald, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Eencie Weencie Spider, I'm a Little Teapot (aka Teapot), Popcorn Popping, Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam (aka Beam), Once Upon a Dream (aka I Know...), If You're Happy and You Know It (her Hooray is adorable!).
- Lydia loves to color and when you ask her what color anything is, she responds with "red."
- She has recently taken more of an interest in her purses and cell phone. She will put her purse on, get her baby in her stroller, and walk off saying, "Buh Bye, See ya."
- She is very smart. Her vocabulary is HUGE!! She surprises me everyday with the things that she says and knows and notices. Things that I don't realize we've taught her because she's learned it from observation.
- I love it when she drops something and says, "Aw Maaan! Dang it." It is really cute.
- She definitely recognizes "home" now and I love that! When we get close to home from a drive or a walk, she notices and says, "Go home! Home!" It makes me feel good that she likes our home.
- Chris and I have been playing on a softball team together and so Lydia is placed in her stroller next to the dug out. It took her a little bit to get adjusted to that. But now she sits and cheers for us, literally, it is so cute!! She will yell, "Run run run!" or "Go go go!" or "Yay!!" and clap! It is very cute. Everyone on our team just loves her!
- Her favorite movies are Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. And she can recognize these Princesses out of a group! She also knows Ariel for some reason...she hasn't even seen that movie all the way through I don't think.
- I love her little facial expressions. My dad kept saying how you could just read Lydia like a book because her face tells it all!
