We found such a great deal at our Neighborhood Macey's Grocery Store. This little picnic table was on sale and we actually got an additional half off of that because it was the last one and the brace for the umbrella was broken. I had been wanting a little table and chairs for Lydia to read and color at. I loved this little table and thought it would be used maybe more because it could be used in different ways. It is very cute. We decided to paint it and put plastic over the top so it would be flat. It's so lite and easy to move any where I want it or need it. It will be used for years probably. Welcome to our home cute little table. 
This is the semi-final product. We just need to fix the brace underneath for the umbrella and re-drill the hole for the umbrella to go through the plexi-glass. I love it! I am so happy with how it turned out. Lydia Loves it! It was so cute; one day, I flipped it up on its side so I could vacuum. I forgot to put it back when I was done. When Lydia came into the kitchen and found her table turned up on its side, she literally screamed and ran toward it saying, "Oh no! Oh no!" In such a worried, sad tone. She was so happy that I could fix it! She LOVES to color now and so I am so happy to have a good place for her to color away.
