Sprinkler Girl!

Lydia was being so cute running through the sprinkler the other day. Her and Shaylie had quite the time of their lives. Even though, I don't think Shaylie came over prepared to get as wet as she did.... :)

FUNNY STORY ABOUT THIS DAY: Lydia and I had planned to go to the pool this day, but ended up getting going too late to make it to the pool and be back in time to make it to the young women activity I had planned to attend that evening. This is why we decided to pull out the sprinkler. Lydia and Shaylie were having so much fun that I didn't have time by the time we went inside to change Lydia out of her swimming suit, so I just took her to mutual with me in her swimming suit and new cute little swim cover. We had the activity at Sister Amy Beck's house, the young woman president. We played botchi ball out in her front yard...where there is a cute little pond. This pond is cute, but it was VERY dirty and about a foot and a half to two feet deep. Lydia was trying to reach to touch the little fountain that ran into the pond, I'm sure, when she toppled over and fell right into the scummy water! She was pretty chill about the whole thing if you ask me. She was a little surprised and kind of cold, but really her instincts were quite amazing. She fell in and then instantly flipped over on her back so her face was out of the water. I pulled her out quick enough that I don't think she swallowed any water. I probably could have let her play for a little longer since she was in her swimming suit and ready to go!

Playing Ring Around the Rosies. They are so cute. They mostly go, "diddle diddle diddle diddle, ashes, ashes, DOWN!" And then fall down.
