We hiked the Timpanogos Cave Trail last Wednesday. It was really fun. We didn't actually get to go inside the caves though because we had to be back home before 5 p.m. to answer the phones for the mortuary. We plan to go back and do the caves soon. I thought we all looked cute in our little baseball caps. Lydia liked that we were all wearing one and not just her. She kept trying to butt our bills together any time I'd hold her. She thought it was so silly.
She did great on the hike. We don't have one of those nifty back pack things big enough for her so Chris carried her on his shoulders most of the way. She did get down and hike on her own quite a bit. She loved that! She would huff and puff and swing her little hips; it was adorable! The whole way down her and Chris kept singing, "Hi-Ho!" This seems to be one of Lydia's favorite songs right now. I think mostly because she can sing the right notes because there's only two and she can say the words with us. Every one on the trail just loved her. She is so social and friendly, nobody can keep a smile off of their face with her around.
