Marriage: A Divine Plan

These past weeks have been mighty busy for yours truly! I've started school again full time. This is absolutely wonderfully difficult! I love being in school again. I love carrying a backpack and attending classes, but I dread leaving Lydia for that time that I am away. It still isn't very long and I know that she is with Chris, but I miss her much when I'm gone. I have to keep telling myself that I am doing this for her and so that I can be the best mother and example that I can be for her. I want to encourage her to learn and to finish things that she starts and to do that I have to have done it myself.

Chris has been so wonderful in these days that carry more stress for me. I come home from school to find that he has done the dishes, cleaned the house, done the laundry, Lydia has been fed, changed, dressed, and napped. I love this man. He loves me (which is not an easy thing to do...) and I am honored to be his wife. I am often troubled with trivial things and worry extensively when it is not necessary. He has such a calm heart, and a peaceful demeanor that I certainly feel home in his presence and he eases my load every day.

Just a few cute "insiders" about Chris:
Super Bowl Sunday~
Chris:
first thing out of bed, shoots his arms in the air and shouts,
"I'm going to go make SUPER BOWL BREAKFAST!"
Brindy: so sad to break the news replies, "Oh hun. It's fast sunday."

Browsing "at home date ideas"~
Chris:
"Eww. This says 'have a fart party'!"
Brindy: "What? A fart party?"
Chris: "Oh never mind! It says FRAT party."

Getting home from school~
Brindy:
"Why isn't Lydia in a cloth diaper?"
Chris: "Because she hasn't pooped yet today."

We laugh every day, argue just about as much, and at the end of each day we are more in love then we ever were before. I am so happy to have this sweet man by my side to teach me and to strengthen me and to complete me. Together we are stronger. Marriage is part of a Divine Plan. It is essential to our happiness. When Christ is at the center of two hearts, love will abound and it is a beautiful thing. I love Chris and I am grateful for his ability to forgive and be forgiven. I am grateful for his desire to be like Christ.

Happy Valentine's Day Sweetheart!
