Christmas with the Bennett's

We had such an extended Christmas this year. It seemed strange that after we got back from Virginia we still had a week until actual Christmas! Santa Claus surely visited our home and our hearts this year. We were given wonderful gifts and, most of all, greater love.

Lydia was a doll. We just loved watching her get so excited even though she didn't really know what was going on whatsoever. She is just such a happy girl most all of the time that Christmas Cheer was found easily in this little one.

We spent Christmas Eve (day) at Gardner Village. It was fun just to walk around and see the cute holiday decorations and the little elves all over the village.

Christmas Eve
(we didn't have fancy or cute pajamas, but we had a happy home.)

Yes, Chris and I read her A Night Before Christmas

Santa's been here!

Christmas isn't about the PRESENTS, but his PRESENCE.

After we put Lydia to bed, Chris and I decorated this Gingerbread house together. We had fun, I did the left side and he did the right, although I think he got frustrated with the runny frosting and just gave up half way through.

This video is kind of long and boring for the most part. The beginning is worth watching though. Lydia is so fun.

Lydia loves her little train!

She also Loves the adorable rocking chair that Grandma and Grandpa Bennett gave her.

WHAT A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

What fun reading and sharing your Christmas! She is so adorable and isn't it wonderful to share Christmas with a child. Nothing else compares.....after all, it began with a baby. Love you
