Third Times a Charm

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!

We celebrated our three year anniversary on the 7th of this month.
On Wednesday, the 7th, we dropped Lia off at her Aunt Kayla's house and went up to Sundance Resort. We rode the ski-lift and had a little picnic at the top. It was beautiful! We were a little bit chilly because it got rather windy at the top, but it was a lot of fun and gave us some quiet time to talk and flirt and do what happy husbands and wives do best, laugh!

On thursday we decided to spend the day celebrating with our beautiful little girl. We went to the Hogle Zoo. I was never really a "zoo-goer" growing up. I was always dissappointed to hear we were taking a field trip or a family trip to the zoo, and I didn't think Lydia would be old enough to even recognize the animals. But I was wrong and we had a GREAT time at the zoo! It was so much fun. Lydia was a crack to watch and the zoo was full of little baby animals! We saw a baby elephant, giraffe, snow leopard cubs (only on a live-feed television though), and alligator. I think the monkeys were Lydia's favorite.
Right as we were about to leave, Chris insisted on taking his little girl on the train. I must say it did complete the experience. We had a wonderful Anniversary and wouldn't trade these last three years for nothing!
