I Love Chris

This past week my parents and my little sister, Becky drove all the way out here to Utah to see ME!!! Okay so not really just to see me, but I sure am happy to have some time with them.

So anyway....Becky's bed was our couch and her and I were up really late just chattin the other night when she spotted a great big spider up on the wall! I never realized how deathly afraid of spiders I really am until just recently. I tried to be all tough and found one of Chris's slippers and had a clear shot to kill the bugger. I swing and I MISS!!! hahaha It fell right onto the couch that we were sitting on and that Becky would be sleeping on. We both are screaming and jumping up and down all while my parents, Lydia, and Chris were sleeping in rooms nearby. We finally found the spider again nestled between the couch cushions. I wasn't about to try again and have it crawl into the couch and then come back for revenge on Becky while she slept! And Becky, the chicken, wouldn't do it either! So I finally decided to go to my protector and love of my life, my hero and knight in shining armor to come and save these two damsels in distress. At two o'clock in the morning I attempt to awake my husband to come and kill a spider for me! That's quite a favor to ask and it's pretty pitiful on my part, but reluctantly after turning the light on and putting his shorts on for him, he rolled out of bed and came to our rescue, grabbed the "HUGE" spider with some toilet paper, proceeded to tell us how silly and INCONSIDERATE we are and then went back to bed...this time I went back with him.

I love Chris!

Haha that is so funny! That is something I would do! I am so beyond terrified of spiders, I don't know why I am scared of something so small but I am. Spiders are the worst!

That is so HILARIOUS! I would do the same thing too and Brain would probably give a very simillar reaction to it accept he would tease us for the rest of our lives!!
I am so excited for everyone traveling this way and I can have my turn!!

How funny! I HATE spiders and Kristian will never kill them for me! If I am lucky enough he will and then he proceeds to chase after me with the remains, yuck! I was reading your post below that and I am already in panic mode about Ellie Growing up. It happens so fast, I wish I could pause time. Lydia is at such a great age, they have such fun personalities and you don't have to chase them around the house yet!

That is so funny! I can see myself doing the same thing. I can't tell you how many times I've inconvenienced Andrew to get a spider or some other bug for me. That's how you know your husband really loves you!
