Lydia is now TWO months old! She is a beauty!
Just a few things to remember from the first two months:1. Walking in to the bedroom to check on Lydia, who was taking a nap, and finding her just laying there farting away!
2. She constantly has her hands up by her face. This made it very difficult when mommy would try to nurse.
3. Lydia is very ticklish.

4. If something goes out of schedule or she seems to be eating a lot more or sleeping a lot more, it's not the end of the world and it doesn't mean that she will be damaged at all!
5. Sometimes it's nice to just be alone with Lydia. I use to always want to be out doing something or seeing people, but it really is nice to have her all to ourselves.

6. Always burp her with a burper cloth near by, even when you think she won't spit up this time.
7. She loves Bath time!
8. She loves listening to her Daddy play the guitar.
9. I think it's so funny when we're driving and since she has to face backwards, we can't see her. Every once in a while she'll start to fuss, and I just tell her it's ok, we'll be done soon...and then when I go to get her out I find her just moving her head back and forth with her headband down around her eyes. It's so funny and I always feel bad for not checking why she was fussing a little.
10. They really do grow so fast!
11. Her first little giggles will bring smile to any one's face!
12. I love that she greets me with a smile now when I retrieve her from her crib after a nap.
13. Mothers don't know everything... at least this one doesn't!
14. I love, love, love how she arches her back, sticks her little bum out, curls her legs up and stretches when you take her out of her carseat or crib.
15. She has been a very good sleeper. She has been sleeping from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and then goes back to sleep until 8:00 a.m. since she was about 4 or 5 weeks old.

She was so good at her 2 month doctor's visit. I didn't realize that she would be getting her shots. As soon as the put the first one in she just stiffened and her eyes got big...and then she cried! So hard it made no sound! It is probably the hardest thing to do; to watch your baby in pain and all you can do is hold her hand. As soon as they were done and I was able to pick her up again, she quieted right down, whimpered a little more, and then when she was in daddy's arms, everything was okay! It was so cute. She was fine for the rest of the day. I think we have a pretty tough little girl.
