The Things You Learn....
I got really scared this morning because Lydia was coughing really badly. She also had had a terrible night, didn't sleep much, and that really isn't like her. She was coughing so badly that she couldn't really breathe and the coughing wasn't letting up at all. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't do anything for her, so I called the doctor and she said she could hear her in the background and that I should bring her in. So I go to leave and realize that Chris took the car to work this morning and so I didn't have a car. I called my friend Bobi Sue and she agreed to take me to the Doctor's office (thanks Bobi Sue). And wouldn't you know that as soon as we left the coughing eased up and Lydia went to sleep. So we get to the doctor's and they said it's probably just congestion. I'm not upset because I'm glad I know that she's ok, but now I know to wait it out a little longer before I go and pay 20 bucks for them to tell me that. :)

Haha babies are so funny like that! Ary had been really sick too and was super fussy which isn't like her at all. So finally we decided to take her in to the doc and of course the second we get there she is all smiles for the nurse and doctor. What a stinker! Luckily we did take her in though cause she ended up having a pretty good ear infection so we were able to get her on antibiotics right away. Aren't babies so fun though?! :)
I don't think there is anything scarier than a sick newborn!! I'm so glad she's doing better!!
You know what-every mother I think has had an experience like that! For Kaydon's 1st birthday, he kept throwing up all morning and was way lethargic! I flipped out and immediately took him to the Dr. office, came home and he took a nap and woke up just fine! I'm guessing it was the yogurt I gave him for breakfast! You sometimes feel stupid for taking them in but it sure does help ease your worrisome mind!! I'm glad it wasn't anything more especially with her being so little still!! Welcome to motherhood-it's full of worries!!
K-so that last comment Adrianne really wrote and was supposed to be the Fowkes!
oh man.. I know that is tough to know what to do. But owell, its better to be safe than sorry! My worst fear is that RSV stuff that is going around so bad. by the way... I love the haircut! Sometimes it is just so fun to do something different!
