Becky And Rachel Came to See Us

It was so fun to have Becky and Rachel come and stay with us for about a week. Our tiny apartment is quite an eye sore and we hope that they didn't mind the little space, but we love having them come...anyone come! :) We love seeing family whenever we can, it brightens our spirits.

Rachel and I went on a hike on Thursday while Becky finished up some homework and Chris was at work. It was beautiful. We drove up Payson Canyon for a little hike and a place to eat lunch.



We got to a lake that Chris had recommended we go see and there were some friendly old men there that just reminded us of cute grandpas. They were so excited to see that there were other people were up to enjoying nature like they were. The lake was beautiful and the old man offered to take some pictures for us, kind of awkward, but it was nice. :)

This is one of my new favorite "hikes". It is called the Grotto. I put it in quotation marks because it is so very short that I'm not sure it should be considered a hike. But that is one reason that I love it so much, it's short and sweet and ends with such a pleasant surprise. We had a great time taking in some fresh air and getting out of our tiny apartment.
