Hard Times

These past few weeks have been pretty hard for Brindy and me. We have been praying and fasting to know what to do with our lives, and we finally made a decision to move into Chet and Bobi Sue's basement. We thought we had everything figured out, but then Brindy got put into the hospital for a couple of days. I had a tooth break. We found out it was pointless to fix our car. And just many other small things that got us down. Then a couple of days ago, as I was praying General Conference came to my mind. The talk, "Come what may, and love it." by Elder Wirthlin about being happy and laughing about things that would normally upset someone, stuck out in my mind. That message has stayed with me since. I felt such a peace in my heart that all I needed to do was to trust in the Lord and have Faith. I have been so happy since, and I have learned so much from these experiences that it makes them all worth it. I am so grateful for the blessings of the gospel, specifically General Conference.

So does this mean you are telling people you are moving?

Thanks Brindy! So how are you guys doing? How is the little girl? And are you guys moving for sure?
