Sundance Provo Canyon

Chris took me on a date last Saturday and we had a great time! He came and picked me up and TAPED my eyes shut! Yes, Taped them shut with Blue masking tape! I'm sure people driving past us on the road could have called the cops if I made any slight indication that I was in trouble and that would have been a funny story, but I guess they could tell how thrilled I was to be with the most handsome man in the world! So we drove up to Provo Canyon where he finally takes the tape off of my eyes (which took half of my mascara and eye shadow with it and the other half smeared down my cheek!) haha...should have got a picture of that!

Removing the tape however revealed a beautiful autumn scenery all around me. The river running parallel to the road was breathtaking. We then went up to Sundance hoping to catch a ski lift ride to take in the beautiful autumn evening. We missed it though, they had just closed before we got there. Chris had prepared a picnic meal for us to eat at one of the stops on the ski lift, but instead we just found a little table on the porch of the restaurant there and set up our picnic! It was so fun and so beautiful. We enjoyed a walk together along the river and through the woods. It was a very thoughtful night and I appreciate Chris for thinking of the things that make me so happy, being with him, the beautiful outdoors, and falltime! We stopped by Squaw Peak on our way back down to take in more of the view and the sunset.
