Most know by now so I finally thought we could post it and Announce to the whole world now that
WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
This is the day that we found out. We celebrated together with our Bubbly! :)
The day that I took the tests at home, I told Chris I was going to take them, but I wanted to wait until he got home from work to tell him what they revealed. So I had a little bit of time to celebrate and take in the huge change in my life at home alone for a few hours. I jumped up and down, did a few sprints from our front room to our bedroom, cried some and smiled A LOT! Then I tried to figure out a good way to tell the father! I made a run to the store and picked up a card with a picture of a baby on the front and blank inside, some baby sized bottles of Sparkling Cider and a gift card to Baby Gap (for ourselves of course :) ). On the card I wrote something, without lying, but something that would lead him to believe that the tests were negative. I gave that to him when I picked him up from work. He seemed so disappointed, it hurt me to play along, but he had fooled me so many times I some how kept a straight face and played along. When we finally got home he asked me again, "So they were pretty clear? Are you sure?" I just said, "Well yah, they were pretty clear..." trying so hard not to smile. In the other room, on our bed I had displayed the baby sparkling ciders, the pregnancy tests, and the gift card. He was not moving toward our bedroom at all and so I finally couldn't take it any more and said, "Come here I want to show you something." as I dragged him by the hand into our bedroom. Then it all rushed over him, we embraced and cried together as we laughed through our tears! What a great moment! To know that we were blessed and privileged so much to be trusted to bring one of Heavenly Father's precious children into this world. We still can't get over the excitement and I'm sure we never will.
We heard the heart beat a week ago and so the baby is growing strong and we are so happy. I am now about 3 1/2 months pregnant! The next six months are going to seem like forever while we wait to meet our child.

YAHOO!! Danika needs a little buddy. I remember how fun it was that I knew we were expecting and hadn't told Bryce yet. What a fun secret to have!!!
So, I'm answering your photography question here! I started with a class in high school and then took some in college. I've also read some good books, but I think the best thing to do is get out there and practice, practice, practice!!
Nice! We are so excited for you to be a mommy and a daddy! It really is a joy! I love my kids with all my heart, and it would be weird to not have them around!!

I just love the baby news that keeps popping up in our extended families. So cool. We also had a great day Sunday when Dev was made an Elder. it was awesome!! Families can be TOGETHER forever. And just think how much we love being together for little snippets of time here and there and then imagine eternity?! Love the THREE of you!! Aunt Launa
